Lufthansa Group calls for swift implementation of German airport security reforms

Deutsche Lufthansa AG head of group policy Dr Kay Lindemann called (13-Jun-2018) on the German Federal Government and Bundestag (Parliament) to swiftly implement reforms of security controls at German airports, a concept already announced as part of the new German Government's coalition agreement. "Lack of efficiency and high costs are serious locational disadvantages for air traffic from Germany and a daily burden on our passengers", Dr Lindemann said. He added: "Our goal is to have security controls that are more effective, more economical and more customer friendly - without sacrificing security". [more - original PR - German]
