The 28-year-old got a pick of 168 seats on the brand new Boeing 738 on the Jet2Airways 2am service to Birmingham.

In one video Saad captured himself boarding the plane to be greeted by four members of cabin crew who were waiting for him outside the jet after he was taken by car from the gate to the plane.

They welcomed him, saying: “Welcome aboard your private jet sir”.

He also took snaps of him at the controls of the plane, grinning in the cockpit with the pilot on the two and a half hour flight.

Another video shows the cabin crew attempt to give him a personal synchronised safety demonstration, showing the empty seats behind them.

They pouted together to show off the empty seats and red lighting in the brand new plane.

Saad didn’t have to worry about leg room as he stretched out at the front of the plane and avoided screeching infants which left him able to snooze comfortably.

He said: “The staff was amazing and very excited that I was the only person on the plane with them.

“Even though it was just me and them they were professional but we did have a laugh and a joke and it was brilliant.

“I had been at a friend’s wedding in Greece, and I think there was meant to be one other person booked on my flight.

“It’s a new route that they are doing so not a lot of people would have known about it yet.

“When I was at the airport the members of staff came up to me and told me that I was the only person booked onto the flight.

“I was really excited and I got the full private jet experience. The staff were young and laughing and joking with me.

“We took photographs together and they basically let me have the run of the plane it was amazing.

“There was food and drink if I wanted it, they let me take videos of the experience and sitting in the cockpit was brilliant as well.

“Everyone was as excited as me to have only one passenger on the plane and movies and music were played over the PA system for all of us to enjoy.

“We were having fun and it was the best flight that I have ever been on!”

He added that he had no idea he was the only passenger on the plane until he reached the boarding gate and laughing staff told him he would be flying solo.

And to finish off an “amazing” flight, on request the pilot announced ‘the eagle has landed’ upon touching down in the UK.

Saad also got a free £60 voucher to use on his next holiday with jet2, after only paying £40 for the initial flight.

A Jet2 spokeswoman said: “We were delighted to launch our first ever flight to Corfu from Birmingham on 21st July, which was full of happy holidaymakers.

“As it was our first time operating this new route, there were fewer returning holidaymakers which meant that Saad got to experience our VIP customer service in style, on board one of our brand new aircraft.”

Last month pals Yvette Francis and Peaches Murray were upgraded to business class when they were the only passengers on a flight to New York and washed down champagne and cocktails for free.

In January Beth VerSteeg was the only passenger on a one-hour flight from Rochester, New York, to Washington DC.
